Our gracious hosts and custodians, Arno and Shira Scherzberg, have co-created the House of Inquiry as an offering to the Divine and to your soul.
The HOiY is situated right between the Mediterranean Sea and the Mijas mountains, near Málaga, Spain. It consists of 5 separate houses scattered on a beautiful peninsula-like piece of land of 65,000 sqm (16 acres). It offers 14 comfortable individual living spaces (single, couple, and double rooms), all with private bathrooms and many with a small kitchen, plus a dormitory with 3 beds for simple living. We also offer a spacious tent with a single mattress and an area for campers, including a sweet outdoor bathroom with an indoor and outdoor hot shower.
The communal spaces are comprised of a Meditation Room that holds up to 30 people, a large hangout room with a fireplace, a dining space, a spa with a jacuzzi and steam bath, a small gym with a few machines, an outside big bed with lots of cushions and blankets for chilling, and two areas set up with massage tables, one indoors and one outdoors.

HOW TO GET THERE:
- Fly to Málaga (AGP)
- If you’re taking a rental car from the airport, put the following coordinates google maps: 36°34'41.9"N 4°39'00.2"W https://goo.gl/maps/ZdnP9gUc3QN6scGz5. It’s a 20-30 min drive.
- A taxi from the airport is €45.
- Or take a train from the airport (station under terminal T3) to Fuenjirola, it goes every 20 minutes between 6am and 11:30pm and takes about 30 min into town for €4. From there, it’s a €10 taxi up to HOIY.
