The Intelligence Within

A Story of Cellular Transformation

A feature-length documentary

The Story

Jennifer Millar grew up in Northern Ireland during the Troubles, navigating early traumatic experiences, and a profound personal crisis before she was twenty. In search of healing, she found a psycho-spiritual path that would change the course of her life. What began as her own journey gradually became something far larger: a body of work she has spent almost two decades developing, refining, and sharing with hundreds of people around the world.

That work is called Cellular Transformation®.

Cellular Transformation, also known as CT, is a psycho-spiritual modality that works with stored trauma, conditioning, and fear held in the cells of the body. It draws on a deep well of philosophy, practice, and lived wisdom around trauma healing, personal power, conscious communication, and spiritual intelligence. It does not skim the surface. It goes straight to the heart of the issue, working with an innate intelligence that transforms pain and limitation at the cellular level. The result is not just healing, but a genuine shift in how a person experiences themselves and their life: more clarity, more purpose, more capacity for connection, and a deeper sense of their own power.

This documentary is not simply a portrait of Jennifer, nor a record of a workshop. It is an attempt to bring this entire body of work to the screen: its origins, its philosophies, its practices, and what it looks like when a person truly lives it. We go back to Ireland, to the early experiences that shaped her. We follow the years of inner upheaval and transformation that led her to build something entirely new. And we witness the work itself, in the room where the magic happens.

This is a story about what becomes possible when trauma is met not with management, but with genuine transformation at its root.

Why This Film

There is no shortage of approaches to healing right now. Therapy, meditation, somatic work, spiritual practice. And yet for so many people, something remains stuck. The mind understands the wound, story gets reframed, symptoms get managed. But the core of the issue stays untouched.

Most approaches work at the level of the mind. Cellular Transformation works deeper: with the stored trauma, fear, and conditioning that live not in our thoughts, but in our cells, our DNA.

The philosophies woven into this work around trauma, power, conscious communication, and the relationship between body and spirit are not yet part of the broader cultural conversation or mainstream psychotherapy, not in trauma research, not in modern spirituality. We believe they should be.

The Work is the closest reference point we have found: a documentary that pulled back the curtain on a therapeutic space to let the world see something that had only ever existed in private. We are setting out to do something similar. Because what happens in a CT workshop is extraordinary, and it has, until now, only ever existed within the privacy of that space.

This film is an attempt to change that.

The Film

Directed by Kaley Hanson, Jennifer's stepdaughter and a documentary filmmaker based in Amsterdam, the film moves across several interwoven layers:

The woman behind the work. We return to Ireland to explore the formative experiences that shaped Jennifer, and trace the arc of transformation that led her to birth Cellular Transformation.

The philosophies and practices. At the centre of this film is the work itself: its core ideas, its approach to trauma, power, the body, and spiritual intelligence. Explored not as concepts to be explained, but as lived realities through Jennifer's life, her teaching, and the experiences of those who have moved through the process.

The workshop. We will be filming a full 5-day CT workshop, bringing cameras into a space that has remained private until now. This is where the work becomes visceral and real on screen, where people come to break old patterns and step into a fuller experience of being human.

The ripple effect. Through the people whose lives have been transformed by CT, including trained facilitators who now carry this work forward, we see what becomes possible when this kind of healing moves outward into the world.

Kaley's perspective threads through the film as someone who grew up inside this world, offering an intimate lens on a story she knows from the inside.

Where We Are

This project is in its early stages, and this campaign is where it begins. This is Phase 1 of 3. Phase 1 covers the workshop in Greece, the Europe tour, behind-the-scenes footage, and interviews with CT facilitators and participants. Phase 2, planned for next year, takes us to Ireland and into Jennifer's home life in Texas. Phase 3 is post-production: editing, finishing, and the film festival run. Each phase will have its own fundraiser. This campaign funds Phase 1.

The workshop has already been scheduled for filming in Greece. Beyond that, production includes location shoots in Ireland and Spain, and interviews with CT facilitators and participants. The workshop shoot is the most expensive single component and the one we most urgently need funding toward.Without it, this film cannot be made. Post-production will be covered through a separate fundraiser.

We are asking for help to get this off the ground, and we are grateful for every contribution that makes it possible.

The Team
Filmmakers

Kaley HansonDirector / Cinematographer / Editor

Kaley is a documentary filmmaker based in Amsterdam. She has been working in film and media since 2017, and completed her master's degree in documentary filmmaking at Goldsmiths, University of London in 2022. She has worked across documentary, branded, and commercial projects as both an editor and director. Having grown up immersed in the world of CT, she brings both a filmmaker's craft and a deeply personal understanding to this story.

Ryan PadgettAssistant Director

Ryan is an artist and technologist based in Amsterdam. With a background in motion and VFX, he has been building immersive experiences for corporate clients since 2016. He has been deeply involved with CT since 2019 and wears many hats for this project. His extensive experience in film and post production brings a valuable edge to the team. He holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Visual Effects & Motion Graphics from the Illinois Institute of Art Chicago and a Masters of Science in Creative Computing from the University of the Arts London.

Charlotte UslarAssistant Producer

Charlotte is the Global Manager of Cellular Transformation, based in Cologne. She has known and worked closely with Jennifer since 2011 and holds a diploma in architectural engineering from Bauhaus University Weimar, bringing a practiced eye for guiding complex projects while staying true to their essence. She has been in love with documentary filmmaking for decades, and this project brings together both of those worlds in a way that feels like a true honour and dream to be part of.

Adam EksteinCinematographer

Adam is based in Israel and comes from an artistic background, primarily in video, working as a director, cinematographer, and editor. Alongside that, he is a certified Family Constellation therapist and is currently completing his psychotherapy training. He has been part of retreat spaces both as a participant and as an assistant in various workshops, including CT. He knows this process from the inside and has gone through it himself, so his role is to be present without interfering, allowing participants the space to open and receive what they came for. He is drawn to this project because he deeply believes in CT as its own unique modality and feels a strong desire to help bring it to a wider audience.

Lee BinderSound Recordist

Lee has spent over 25 years working as a sound engineer, from major London venues to 20 years in Formula 1. In 2010 something shifted in him, and he ended up living in Mooji's ashram in Portugal, doing the sound for the daily programs, retreats and videos. More recently he has been touring with musician Sam Garrett. After leaving the ashram, he felt he needed to face some unresolved trauma. Finding CT hit him hard, the changes were fast and unexpected. So when the chance came to help share this work through this film, it felt like something he just had to be part of.

The CT Facilitators

A group of trained facilitators has grown around Cellular Transformation over the years, each bringing their own story of transformation and their own relationship to this work. We will be interviewing them throughout the film as voices that illuminate what this process means from the inside.

Kanika Frings

Kanika Frings is a CT facilitator and holistic counsellor trained in a diverse range of psycho-somatic and spiritual modalities that inform her work with individuals and groups worldwide. Over the past decade, she has lived in and co-run a community-based retreat center, deeply committing herself to continuous inner growth and expansion while supporting others on their journeys. Cellular Transformation has been a pivotal turning point in her life, leading her to become a devoted student and facilitator of Jennifer’s work, with CT forming the foundation of both her personal path and professional practice.

Charlotte Uslar — Charlotte has been involved with Cellular Transformation since 2011. From the moment she encountered this work, she recognised it as the fastest and most potent path to deep transformation she had ever come across, and committed body, mind, and soul to learning the language of energy. Having witnessed Jennifer and CT evolve and refine over many years, she brings a deep understanding of Cellular Transformation into her own CT online groups and private sessions, serving this work with the same devotion that first drew her to it.

Sidhamo Flyr

Sidhamo is a facilitator, holistic counselor, and seeker whose life has been shaped by a deep commitment to truth and authentic living. He has spent years traveling and exploring different paths, including living with a remote tribe in Vanuatu, which led him to let go of the conventional American dream in search of something more real.

Trained in NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) therapy, he works as a CT facilitator and lives in a community in Mallorca where the principles of CT are practiced as a way of life. He leads CT workshops for men and facilitates self-development workshops, supporting others in moving beyond conditioned patterns and meeting themselves more directly.

Of all the paths he has explored, this work is what has most deeply brought him home to himself.

Manisha Schwenker

Manisha, a licensed psychotherapist in Germany, discovered Cellular Transformation in 2020 and recognized it as a powerful, embodied approach that integrates multiple therapeutic methods in a safe group setting. She values its grounding in truthfulness, humility, and responsibility, as well as its effectiveness for both healing and spiritual growth. She also appreciates CT’s practical, experience-based approach to spirituality, which fosters authenticity and deeper relational awareness. Recently, she has begun facilitating CT for Couples circles, helping partners integrate these principles to strengthen their connection and to embrace CT as a way of life.

We are transparent about the fact that this is a substantial sum. It reflects what it genuinely takes to make a documentary of this quality and scope. Every euro goes directly into making this film.

The total production budget for Phase 1 is approximately €79,075. The heart of this phase is the filmed workshop at Afroz, Greece, which accounts for around €34,938 of that total and covers the full crew, specialist equipment and transportation. Beyond the workshop, this budget covers the filming of Jennifer’s Europe tour, behind-the-scenes footage, and interviews with CT facilitators and location sponsors, along with a director stipend for twelve months of full-time work.

Making this film is a full-time commitment for the next year for Kaley: research, travel, and shooting. The director's stipend works out to just over 1,500 euros a month, which means every bit of energy goes into making this film the best it can be.

Film production is unpredictable… locations fall through, equipment breaks, schedules shift. This contingency ensures that when the unexpected happens, we can handle it without cutting into the quality of the film.

See the Work for Yourself

Before this documentary, we made a short film: Cellular Transformation: A Story Told by Those Who Live It. It does not attempt to explain CT. It offers something closer to a felt sense of it, through the voices of people who have experienced it firsthand.

If you want to understand why this documentary needs to exist, this is the best place to start.
